Comnet System AB went into business in the early 1970's when the owner Evald Koitsalu during his years of study started undertaking minor commissions in the field of Electronics. Starting at small scale repairing wireless microphones the company eventually grew and had to engage more people.
During the years Comnet has worked for (or together with) companies like: Ericsson, FMV, Stockholm Energi, Sjöfartsverket, Gadelius, Misomex and Falling Number.
Today Ericsson and its subsidiries is the biggest client and occupies approximatly three quarters of the Comnet's recources.
Comnet has signed general agreements with Ericsson AB, Saab Training Systems AB, KRT Radio Systems AB, Audio Engineering Ltd and Mesotech AS.

Work at Comnet has involved in the development of :

• special cameras for printing-works
• long wave radio transmitter for lighthouses
• distant heating systems
• packet radio for military simulators
• satellite TV receiver
• HF welding locking device
• remote-controlled car alarms
• Mobitex wireless network equipment
• alarm systems for Mobitex network
• mobile phone equipment (GSM, AMPS, PCS, NMT)
• IR spectroscopy equipment
